With an extensive background in preoperative and postoperative care at UCI Medical Center, including leadership as a Charge Nurse, she developed advanced assessment skills, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to navigate complex medical environments with clarity and composure.

Over time, Alex developed a growing passion for integrative medicine and women’s health, drawn to a model of care that prioritizes root-cause evaluation, prevention, and whole-person wellness. She is deeply committed to supporting women across all stages of life with thoughtful, individualized care.

Alex is recognized for her detail-oriented approach and her dedication to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. She believes exceptional medicine begins with listening and prioritizes creating an environment in which patients feel informed, respected, and empowered as active participants in their health.

Background

She previously served in institutional leadership roles at UCI Medical Center and led team-based training initiatives focused on enhancing communication and patient safety.

Alex earned her accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Arizona University and completed her Master of Science in Nursing as an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at the University of Texas at Arlington. Her graduate training refined her ability to synthesize complex clinical information and deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care within a whole-person framework.

A lifelong Irvine resident, Alex is honored to serve the community where she was born and raised. She feels especially privileged to work alongside Dr. Gersh—who delivered her at birth—an experience that has given her a deep appreciation for continuity of care and the enduring, generational impact of women’s health.
