Dr. Felice L. Gersh has practiced medicine in Irvine since 1981, and has always been a forward-looking visionary regarding the practice of medicine. Recognizing the many alarming trends in the delivery of health care, she took an alternative path, founding the Integrative Medical Group of Irvine and becoming its medical director.
Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine; California-licensed Acupuncturist
Dr. Dayna Kowata earned her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Nevada, Reno, and subsequently attained her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine & Health Sciences, in Tempe, AZ. She has an MS degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine and is a certified Level I Bach Flower practitioner, as well as a Master-level Reiki practitioner.
Diplomate, American Board of Internal Medicine
Dr. Nancy J. Councelbaum earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of California, San Diego, graduating magna cum laude. She earned her medical degree from the University of Southern California, followed by an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at LA County Hospital/USC Medical Center.
Registered Nurse; California-licensed Acupuncturist and Herbologist
Bonnie Whitting has been a Registered Nurse for many years, having received her nursing degree in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Over the years, her work in medical care has varied from ICU-CCU-ER nursing to ambulatory care in pediatrics, ENT, orthopedics, gynecology, dermatology, and family practice.
Nationally-Licensed Medical Massage Therapist and Holistic Healer
Cherie Rife has completed over 1,100 hours of training in various Eastern, Western, and energetic modalities of massage therapy through the highly-regarded Healing Hands School of Holistic Health. She has gained more than 12,000 hours of clinical experience with the patients of medical doctors, chiropractors, and physical therapists.
ACSM Certified Personal Trainer
Bob Tygenhof is an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer and a certified FLT Lifestyle Educator. He’s also a confirmed Paleo dieter, and is deeply committed to the concepts of good nutrition. Bob has been physically active his entire life, and he’s especially fond of integrating his lifelong love of sports and exercise with the physical training of others.
Licensed Medical Aesthetician
Marissa McInerney has studied at the Dermalogica Academy in New York and the International Dermal Institute and is deeply committed to the philosophy of integrative medicine. She performs a number of different skin care treatments including facials, various types of medical peels, and microdermabrasion.
