Imaging Services

At the Integrative Medical Group of Irvine, we take diagnostic testing seriously. Since our goal is to detect potentially serious medical conditions in their earliest and most reversible stages, we incorporate state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging services in our office. The imaging services we currently provide include:

1. Carotid Artery Ultrasounds

   Carotid Artery Ultrasounds (including Carotid Media Thickness Testing)- scanning to determine the degree of plaque and arterial damage in the carotid arteries (the main arteries providing blood to the brain)

2. Ultrasound Testing

   Ultrasound testing of the arteries in the legs to determine their degree of atherosclerosis- the leg arteries are important in their own right but are also virtually identical in their state of health to the coronary arteries in the heart and can serve as surrogate markers for the health of the heart vessels

3. Echocardiograms

   Echocardiograms — essential testing for everyone with elevated blood pressure, irregular heart rhythms, and heart problems of any sort

4. Ultrasounds

   Ultrasounds of the general abdomen, pelvis (uterus and ovaries), thyroid, breast lumps, kidneys, livers
