Dr. Lee received a doctorate degree in Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She completed three years of clinical internship and worked with a diverse population. In addition to being educated in the fundamentals of Naturopathic Medicine, she received extensive training in Functional Medicine, Biotherapeutic Drainage, and German Biological Medicine. Dr. Lee is also an expert in Homeopathy, earning an advanced certification through the New England College of Homeopathy.
Dr. Lee, a passionate doctor, works with each patient to achieve his or her optimal well-being. Her interpersonal relationship and communication skills are outstanding, matched only by her deep understanding of the function of the human body.
Dr. Lee has many areas of interest, with her special expertise lying in the naturopathic treatment of gastrointestinal conditions. These include problems such as irritable bowel disorder, inflammatory bowel diseases, gastroesophageal reflux, constipation, malabsorption conditions such as Celiac Disease, and diverticular disease. She also has a special interest in treating ADHD in both adults and children. Other areas of expertise include weight loss, menstrual dysfunction and cramps, bladder disorders, emotional problems, chronic insomnia, and dealing with the effects which environmental toxins produce.
As a native Korean, Dr. Lee grew up with a broad understanding of traditional Korean medicine and natural healing. Her upbringing provided the foundation from which she evolved; a belief system emphasizing the healing power of Nature which resides in each and every human being. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to blend her Korean roots with her American training.
